Parks Fleet Maintenance
Posting #2025-07

The City of Steinbach has a full-time fleet maintenance opening in the Parks & Recreation Department.

Responsibilities:

Operate and perform repairs and maintenance on equipment including ground keeping and landscaping equipment, and vehicles.
Maintain organized work areas and assure overall cleanliness of facilities, both interior and exterior

Qualifications:

Mechanically inclined (mechanical certification not required)
Repair and maintenance experience with small engines and vehicles is an asset
Ability to solve problems
Attention to detail
Ability to effectively communicate with the public
Willing to work some weekend shifts
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with air brake endorsement

The City of Steinbach has an opening for a full-time Labourer in the Waterworks Department.

The successful applicant will perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled technical and maintenance work along with maintenance and repair of all water and wastewater related infrastructure.
