Parks Fleet Maintenance
Posting #2025-07

The City of Steinbach has a full-time fleet maintenance opening in the Parks & Recreation Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and perform repairs and maintenance on equipment including ground keeping and landscaping equipment, and vehicles.
  • Maintain organized work areas and assure overall cleanliness of facilities, both interior and exterior
Qualifications:
  • Mechanically inclined (mechanical certification not required)
  • Repair and maintenance experience with small engines and vehicles is an asset
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the public
  • Willing to work some weekend shifts
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with air brake endorsement

The City of Steinbach has an opening for a full-time Labourer in the Waterworks Department.

The successful applicant will perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled technical and maintenance work along with maintenance and repair of all water and wastewater related infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or GED
