The City of Steinbach is committed to delivering excellent customer service to our residents. Due to the Canada Post service disruption, please note the following. 

The City will not be able to mail your final utility bill.

If you have recently moved and have not received a final utility bill, please contact the utility clerk to arrange alternative methods to invoice delivery like email or in-person pick-up. 

It is the customer's responsibility to pay their utility bill on time despite the postal service disruption. Please see payment options below. 

The recent quarterly utility bills were due November 29, 2024.

With the current postal disruption, we are unable to mail out reminder notices. Please see payment options below.


We understand that this disruption may be inconvenient, and we appreciate your flexibility & patience during this time. Please consider the following payment options:

  • In-person at City Hall (with cash, cheque or debit) during normal business hours 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday
  • Drop-off box at City Hall
  • In-person at your financial institution
  • Online banking

To avoid future disruption, we also encourage residents to consider signing up for: 

  • Receiving utility bills by e-mail 
  • Accessing "My Utility Account" online
  • Pre-Authorize Payments (PAP)
