Park Road West remains closed to east and westbound traffic between the EG Penner Building Centre entrance and Industrial Road. Initially, the road was going to re-open December 1st, however additional time through the winter and spring is needed to complete the project, so Park Road West will remain closed until completion in summer 2023.
Work is being done in the area to develop Park Road West into a four-lane divided roadway, similar to how it is to the east. This is in conjunction with the residential development that is occurring on the north side of Park Road West.
In addition to the current project, the project timeline and road closure extension will allow the City to expand the works to just west of Industrial Road.
Road closure signs will be posted. Motorists are asked to follow all signs and use caution in this area.
