Please note that pile driving activities at the Southeast Event Center are expected to be completed by Wednesday, March 15th. No pile driving is anticipated during the weekend of March 4, 2023.

January 31, 2023 — Steinbach, MB
Construction is underway for the new Southeast Event Centre, and the City of Steinbach would like to inform the public that pile driving activities will begin on-site this week. As a result, some businesses and residents in the surrounding area may hear noise and feel vibrations associated with the work being done.
Intermittent pile driving for the Southeast Event Centre site is expected to occur Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 6:00pm and is set to wrap up in March 2023. There is no expected impact to travel along Reimer Avenue, Elmdale Street or Hanover Street, but motorists are asked to use caution in the area and follow any signage posted.
As the project proceeds and details become available, updates will be shared through the City of Steinbach website and social media accounts.
