The City of Steinbach’s Parks & Recreation Department is happy to share that the T.G. Smith Arena is open for the 2024-2025 season!
We are now accepting rentals, and we look forward to inviting the public out to skate weekly during scheduled Public Skate or Stick & Puck times.
We can’t wait to see you at the arena this year!
Rentals
The T.G. Smith Arena ice surface is available for rent between the hours of 6:00am and midnight, daily, from August 2024 to March 2025, except on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

Public Skating
The community is invited to lace up those skates and head to the T.G. Smith Arena for some free public skating during scheduled times.
Scheduled Public Skate times will be announced on the City of Steinbach’s Social Media accounts each week, so if you have not already, follow our accounts for updates!
*Note: Public Skates are for pleasure skating only.
Want to bring your sticks and pucks? Come for a scheduled Stick & Puck time.

Have you ever wanted to come to Public Skate and shoot around a puck?
Now you can! The community is invited to lace up those skates, bring your sticks, pucks & helmets*, and join us for scheduled public Stick & Puck times at the T.G. Smith Arena this season.
