Happy Thanksgiving, residents!
Please note the following regarding City services for this upcoming long weekend:
On Saturday, October 12,
- Drop off your kitchen and yard waste at the last community compost depots of the year— there are 3 locations throughout Steinbach for your convenience.
- The Steinbach Landfill & Waste Diversion facility will be open during winter hours, 9am-4pm.
- The Aquatic Centre will be open as scheduled (on Sunday, October 13 too).
On ThanksgivingMonday, October 14,
- There will be no garbage and recycling collection, and the Steinbach Aquatic Centre, City Hall, Operations, and Landfill will be closed.
- The T.G. Smith Arena will be open as scheduled on the online calendar.
All City departments will resume regular business hours starting Tuesday, October 15; garbage and recycling collection will resume on Tuesday with Day 2. View the waste collection schedule here.
