The City of Steinbach would like to inform the public that, starting Monday, November 4th, both northbound and southbound traffic on Provincial Trunk Highway 12 (PTH 12) will be redirected to use the southbound lanes south of Loewen Boulevard.
The update to traffic management is so that the contractor can install a box culvert across the PTH 12 northbound lanes.
Once the contractor is ready to cross the southbound lanes with the box culvert, traffic will be shifted onto the northbound lanes again.
Right-in/right-out access from southbound PTH 12 to businesses located at 2, 6, and 8 PTH 12 will remain, as shown in the map below.
The City thanks all drivers and residents for exercising caution and following signage when travelling in the area, and for their patience as work on the Loewen/PTH 12 Intersection renewal project continues.
