On Saturday, September 30, the City of Steinbach is recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as a day of observance regarding the impacts of residential schools.
Please note the following regarding City services for this upcoming weekend:
- On Saturday, September 30, the Steinbach Landfill will be closed and there will be no Community Compost Depots.
- On Saturday, September 30, the Steinbach Aquatic Centre is open for public swims only from 1-3pm and 4-6pm. There will be no swimming lessons.
- On Monday, October 2, all City administration buildings, and most services will be closed, except the Steinbach Aquatic Centre which will remain open for programming and public swims.
- All City departments will resume regular business hours starting Tuesday, October 3*; garbage and recycling collection will resume on Tuesday with Day 3.
